Overview Finisterre Muxia Extension

In Roman times the cape of Finisterre was believed to be the end of the world, the name Fisterra in the Galician language takes its origin from the latin words finis and terrae, which literally mean end and earth.

Because this route  walks through small quaint towns on it's way to the coast, you get to experience more natural beauty of this region. Galicia is full of beautiful rolling hills, forests, farmlands, stunning views of the Atlantic ocean, and sandy beaches when you arrive at the coast.

As well as the scenery and peacefulness of the route, the distance may also appeal to those with a limited time frame to walk a camino.
